	Captain Enderby Gordon ANDERSON, 12th Company Australian Army Service Corps, was wounded in action on 28th July 1915 and died the following day at Anzac Cove. His body was taken aboard the vessel ‘Rewa’ and buried at sea. He was 27 years of age. He is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli and on the Cheltenham War Memorial. His grandfather, Colonel Samuel Enderby Gordon, CB, resided at Brooks Lodge, The Park, Cheltenham.
Pte Christie Archibald BENHAM, 7th Light Horse Regiment, was killed in action in the area of Jaffa, Palestine, on 14th November 1917, aged 23. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Jerusalem Memorial To The Missing. Pte Benham is commemorated on the St Paul’s Church War Memorial and on the St Paul’s Teacher Training College Roll of Honour.
	Sgt Albert Victor BRACHER, MM, 25th Battalion Australian Imperial Force, was killed in action near Pozieres, France on 29th July 1916, aged 29. He has no known grave and is listed on the Villers Bretonneux Memorial To The Missing. He is commemorated on the Charlton Kings War Memorial and on the Charlton Kings (St Mary’s Church) War Memorial. His parents, Alfred Henry and Anne Mary Bracher, resided at “Tregantle” Copt Elm Road, Charlton Kings.
Pte John Franklin BROWN, 20th Battalion Australian Imperial Force, was killed in action near Pozieres, France on 26th July 1916, aged 26. He has no known grave and is listed on Villers Bretonneux Memorial To The Missing. He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and the Holy Apostles Church Roll of Honour. His parents, John Franklin and Martha Anne Brown resided at 7 Brandon Terrace, Rosehill Street, Cheltenham.
	Cpl Edward CHIDLEY, 1st Battalion Australian Imperial Force, was wounded in action on 12th September 1915. He was transferred to the hospital ship ‘Aquitania’ sailing for the UK on 16th September. He died of his wounds on 20th September 1915 and was buried at sea. He was 36 years of age. He is listed on the Lone Pine Memorial To The Missing. Cpl Chidley is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and on the Cambray Baptist Church Roll of Honour. His parents, James and Sarah Chidley, resided at 9 Brandon Terrace, Gratton Road, Cheltenham.
Pte Edgar MANSFIELD, 51st Battalion Australian Imperial Force, was killed in action in the Messines Ridge area of Belgium on 10th June 1917, aged 37. He has no known grave and is listed on the Menin Gate Memorial To The Missing. He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial. His parents, Alfred and Sarah Mansfield, resided at 49 Tivoli Street, Cheltenham.
	Pte Conway Spencer MARMENT, 56th Battalion Australian Imperial Force, was wounded in action in France on 31st October 1916 and was evacuated to the UK. He died of wounds in the 3rd London General Hospital on 15th January 1917 and is buried in Wandsworth Cemetery. He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and on the Grammar School Roll of Honour. His parents, Mr and Mrs James Marment resided at 27 Bennington Street and later at 6 Glenfall Terrace, Cheltenham.
Pte Frank MARTIN, 1st Battalion Australian Imperial Force, was killed in action near Pozieres, France, on 23rd July 1916, aged 37. He has no known grave and is listed on the Villers Bretonneux Memorial To The Missing. He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial, the St Paul’s Church War Memorial and the Salem Baptist Church Roll of Honour. His parents, Charles and Sarah Ann Martin, resided at 1 Monson Avenue, Cheltenham.
	CSM Herbert Edwin PAYNE, 2nd Battalion Australian Imperial Force, was wounded in action on 6th November 1917 during the Battle of Passchendaele and died of these wounds on 9th November 1917. He was buried in Nine Elms Cemetery, Poperinghe, Belgium. He was 28 years of age. He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial. His parents, Jeremiah and Eliza Payne, resided at Belmont House, Winchcombe Street, Cheltenham.
Pte Vernon ROGERSON, 24th Battalion Australian Imperial Force, was killed in action near Pozieres, France, on 6th August 1916. He was aged 22. He has no known grave and is listed on the Villers Bretonneux Memorial To The Missing. He is commemorated on the Charlton Kings War Memorial and the Charlton Kings (St Mary’s Church) War Memorial. His parents, Edward and Ada Rogerson, resided at “Roadlands”, London Road, Charlton Kings.
	Pte James RUSSELL, 3rd Battalion Australian Imperial Force, was killed in action in the Somme area of France on 21st June 1918, aged 25. He has no known grave and is listed on the Villers Bretonneux Memorial To The Missing. He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and on the St Paul’s Church War Memorial. He left a widow, Florence Annie, who was residing at 1a Swindon Street, Cheltenham.
Cpl Hubert Chamberlain VALE, 3rd Pioneer Battalion Australian Imperial Force, was wounded in action in the Somme area of France on 9th April 1918 and evacuated to the UK where he died of these wounds on 30th April 1918 at the Epson War Hospital. He was 35 years of age. He is buried in Cheltenham Cemetery and commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial. His parents, Benjamin and Ada Mary Vale, resided at 3 Suffolk Square, Cheltenham.
	Gnr Lionel Waterhouse WOOD, 51st Battery 13th Brigade, Australian Field Artillery, was killed in action during the Battle of Passchendaele on 13th October 1917, aged 22. He has no known grave and is listed on the Menin Gate Memorial To The Missing. He is commemorated on the St Stephen’s Church Roll of Honour. His connection with Cheltenham is unknown.

Pte Charles Francis BARTON, 30th Battalion Australian Infantry, was discharged from the Australian Army on 2nd February 1917 and died of illness, aged 24, in Burwood, New South Wales, on 28th July 1917. He is commemorated in the Debt of Honour Register at the CWGC but is not yet commemorated on the Australian War Memorial.
