| Sapper Edwin Leonard BOWDEN, Railway Operating Service, New Zealand Engineers, is buried in Plot XXVI, Row CC, Grave 9A.
He was injured in an accident in the Ypres area of Belgium and died in a military hospital in Poperinghe on 17th January 1918. He was 23. He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and on the St Stephen’s Church Roll of Honour. His parents, John Henry and Elizabeth Bowden, resided at 22 Tivoli Street, Cheltenham. |

Private Henry Thomas COOPER, 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters, is buried in Plot I, Row D, Grave 19a. He was killed in action in the Hooge area of Belgium on 25th September 1915.
Pte Cooper is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial, the St Paul’s Church War Memorial and the Salem Baptist Church Roll of Honour. His parents, Edward Thomas and Catherine Cooper, resided at 25 Albert Street, Cheltenham and later at 15a Hamilton Place, St Pauls Road, Cheltenham. |

| Pte Percy Goddard GARRAWAY, 8th Battalion Canadian Infantry, is buried in Plot XII, Row HH, Grave 26.
He was wounded in action on 11th November 1917 during the Battle of Passchendaele and died in a casualty clearing station in Lijssenthoek on 12th November 1917. He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and the St Paul’s Church War Memorial. His parents, James and Susan Garraway, and his widow Maud Daisy, resided at 7 Marle Hill Parade, Cheltenham. |

Pte Edward Henry GIBBINS, Army Service Corps attached to the X Corps Ammunition Park, is buried in Plot XII, Row B, Grave 38.
He was killed in action on 28th May 1917 during the build up for the Battle of Messines. He was 34. He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and the Cheltenham Parish Boys School Roll of Honour. He and his family may have left Cheltenham prior to the Great War as he enlisted into the Army Service Corps in Patricroft, Manchester, whilst residing in Eccles, Lancashire. An inscription on his headstone reads “Gone but not forgotten by Wife and Son”. |
| Pte John Lawrence GORING, 1st King’s Dragoon Guards, is buried in Plot II, Row D, Grave 1.
He died of wounds in a medical unit in the Lijssenthoek area of Belgium on 21st November 1915, aged 24. He is commemorated on the Bishops Cleeve War Memorial. His parents, Harry and Elizabeth Staite Goring, resided at The Post Office, Bishops Cleeve. |

Captain Alexander Falkland GULLAND, 8th Battalion East Kent Regiment, is buried in Plot XIII, Row A, Grave 26. He was wounded in action during the Battle of Messines and died on 16th June 1917, aged 26.
He is commemorated on the Prestbury War Memorial, the Prestbury (St Mary’s Church) War Memorial, the Holy Trinity Church Roll of Honour and the Cheltenham College Roll of Honour. His parents, Surgeon General Alexander Dudgeon Gulland and Margaret Gulland, resided at Malvern Hill House, Albert Road, Cheltenham. |

| Pte Henry Francis HALLING, Northamptonshire Regiment and 140th Company Labour Corps, is buried in Plot XXX, Row R, Grave 12.
He died of illness on 19th October 1918, aged 44, in a medical unit in the Lijssenthoek area. He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial (as Hailing) and on the St Peter’s Church War Memorial. He left a widow, Mrs E Halling, at 131 Tewkesbury Road, St Peter’s, Cheltenham. Another Halling family, Frederick and Florence Halling, to whom he may have been related, resided at 138 Tewkesbury Road, St Peter’s, Cheltenham.

Pte Hugh Stowell HELLINGS, 1st Canadian Pioneers, is buried in Plot VIII, Row B, Grave 11a.
He was wounded in action during the Battle of Mount Sorrell and died in a medical unit in the Lijssenthoek area on 23rd June 1916, aged 30. He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and the Cheltenham Grammar School Roll of Honour. His parents, Robert and Eliza Hellings, resided at 35 Clarence Square, Cheltenham and are buried in Cheltenham Cemetery. Hugh is commemorated on their grave. |
| Cpl Reginald Ivo RIMELL, 2/5th Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment, is buried in Plot XVIII, Row E, Grave 14. He was wounded by shellfire near Hill 35 in the Ypres area on 12th September 1917 and died later in a medical unit in the Lijssenthoek area. He was 20 years of age.
He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial, the Staverton (St Catherine’s Church) Roll of Honour and the Badgeworth (Holy Trinity Church) Roll of Honour. His parents, Ivor and Kate Rimell, resided at 3 Ivy Terrace, The Reddings, Cheltenham. |

He resided with his parents at 1 Gratton Street, Cheltenham before the Great War and he left a widow, Mrs Elizabeth Hannah Saunders, and two children, at 1 Riverview, Capelulo, Penmaenwawr, North Wales. |

He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and the St Peter’s Church War Memorial. He is also commemorated on the grave of his son, Frederick James Savory, in Cheltenham Cemetery. He left a widow, Ethel Mary Savory, and children, at 41 Queen Street, Cheltenham. |

He was wounded in action at Passchendaele on 7th November 1917 and died the following day at 10th Casualty Clearing Station in Lijssenthoek. He was 21 years old. He is commemorated on the Charlton Kings War Memorial and on the Charlton Kings (St Mary’s Church) War Memorial. His parents, Edward and Mary Turner, resided at Malvern View Croft Road, Charlton Kings. |

| Pte Henry WARD, 10th Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment, is buried in Plot XXVI, Row B, Grave 1.
He was wounded in action on 18th November 1917 in the Kronprinz Farm area near Ypres and was evacuated to a hospital in the Lijssenthoek area where he died on 30th November, aged 39. He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and the St Peter’s Church War Memorial. He left a widow, Mrs Louisa Ward, who resided at 50 Queen Street, Cheltenham. |

He was wounded in action at Passchendaele and died in a medical unit in Lijssenthoek on 15th November 1917, aged 34. He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial. He left a widow, Mrs Harriet Winter, who was residing at 48 Winstonian Road, Cheltenham.
