Private William REGAN, 1/3rd Battalion Monmouthshire Regiment, is buried in Plot No 14.
He was wounded and taken as a prisoner by the Germans on 8th May 1915 at Frezenburg and died in a field hospital at St Laurent on 22nd May 1915. He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial, the St Pauls Church War Memorial and on theCheltenham Parish Church Boys School War Memorial. His parents, Daniel and Margaret Regan resided at 6 Nailsworth Terrace, Cheltenham. The inscription at the base of his headstone reads “Son of Daniel Regan of Cheltenham, Glos. Rest In Peace”.
