Gunner (Dispatch Rider) Harry James, 332 Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery, is buried in Plot VIII, Row D, Grave 3.
He was killed in action in France on 11th September 1918, aged 35. He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and the St Luke’s Church War Memorial. Gnr James’ father, Mr J James, resided at Field Lodge, College Road, Cheltenham

Pte Frank RIVERS, 1st Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment, is buried in Plot IV, Row F, Grave 11.
He was wounded on 27th December 1916 at High Wood, France and died of these wounds on 1st January 1917, aged 19. Pte Rivers is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and the St John’s Church War Memorial. His mother, Mrs Mary Ann Rivers, resided at 45 St James Street, Cheltenham. |
