“Cheltonians” commemorated on the War Memorial and the Roll of Honour

Pte Oliver William DEVEREUX, 10th Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment, though a native Cheltonian, is not commemorated on any memorial in Cheltenham.

Cpl Edmund Haddon HOPKINS, 187 Brigade Royal Field Artillery, is also commemorated on the Cheltenham Grammar School Roll of Honour.

Notes:

1.   Pte Devereux is commemorated on the grave of his brother, TR8/3827 Pte Samuel Harry Devereux, 53rd Training Reserve Battalion, who is buried in a CWGC plot in the St Faith’s Churchyard.
