Pte Oliver William DEVEREUX, 10th Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment, though a native Cheltonian, is not commemorated on any memorial in Cheltenham.
Cpl Edmund Haddon HOPKINS, 187 Brigade Royal Field Artillery, is also commemorated on the Cheltenham Grammar School Roll of Honour. |
Notes: 1. Pte Devereux is commemorated on the grave of his brother, TR8/3827 Pte Samuel Harry Devereux, 53rd Training Reserve Battalion, who is buried in a CWGC plot in the St Faith’s Churchyard. |
