Pte Walter FRUIN, 10th Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment, died of wounds in France on 30th April 1916 and is buried in Abbeville Communal Cemetery. He is not a native Cheltonian and is not commemorated on any memorial in the Cheltenham area though he is listed on a Roll of Honour titled “Cheltonians who have made the supreme sacrifice” published in the Gloucestershire Echo on 7th August 1916. |
