LCpl Harry Fielder MERRETT, 29th Company Machine Gun Corps, is buried in the South-West corner of the Churchyard. Harry Merrett had enlisted into the 3/1st Scottish Horse at Dunkeld, Scotland on 12th November 1915 and transferred to the Machine Gun Corps on 5th September 1916. He was posted to 29th Coy MGC serving in Salonica and Egypt but was taken ill with malaria and medically evacuated to the UK on 4th August 1919. He died of the effects of malaria and pneumonia at Bishops Cleeve on 2nd October 1919, aged 33. He is commemorated on the Bishops Cleeve War Memorial. His parents, Mr Henry Fielder Merrett and Mrs Constance Kate Merrett, resided at “Lystonville”, Bishops Cleeve and previously at “Cotswold Lodge”, Woodmancote, Glos.

Pte Donald PAGE, 2nd Works Company, Wiltshire Regiment, is buried in the South-West corner of the Churchyard.
He died of illness in the Portsmouth area on 9th July 1916, aged 38.
He is commemorated on the Bishops Cleeve War Memorial.
His father, Mr William Page, resided at Fieldgate Farm, Bishops Cleeve.

Cpl Sidney PITMAN, ‘D’ Company, Depot, Royal Engineers, is buried in the South-West corner of the Churchyard.
He was discharged from the Army on 14th May 1918 due to illness and died of TB, contracted whilst on active service, in the Connaught Military Hospital, Aldershot on 27th January 1919, aged 22.
He is commemorated on the Bishops Cleeve War Memorial and the Gotherington War Memorial.
His parents, Mr and Mrs Joseph Pitman, resided at “Woodbine Cottage”, Gotherington, near Cheltenham, Glos.
