Private Harry Joseph Pitman, Canadian Army Medical Corps, is buried in Plot R724.
He died of illness on 25th November 1918, aged 29, whilst stationed at the Canadian Army Medical Services Depot at Shorncliffe Camp, Folkestone.
He is commemorated on the St Philip’s Church War Memorial and on the Cheltenham Grammar School Roll of Honour.
His parents were Henry and Martha Pitman. He left a widow, Mrs Daisy Emily Pitman who resided at 57 Upper Norwood Street, Cheltenham.
