Captain Alan John MacDonald PEMBERTON, MC, The Leinster Regiment attached to the Royal Flying Corps is commemorated on the family plot.
He died in France on 3rd November 1916 and is buried in the Mory Abbey Military Cemetery, France.
Captain Pemberton is not commemorated on any memorial in Cheltenham or the local area.
He was the son of Mrs. Adele M. Pemberton, of 43, Elsham Rd., West Kensington, London and the late Major General W.W. Pemberton, I.S.C. |

Pte Ernest Hayward PRATT, 18th Battalion Australian Imperial Force, is commemorated on the family grave.
He was killed in action in France on 3rd May 1917 and is buried in the Bailleul Road East Cemetery, France.
He was born in Birmingham in 1889 and emigrated to Australia. His connection with Cheltenham is unknown.
Also commemorated is Cpl Ormonde PRATT, Royal Buckinghamshire Hussars, who was killed in action in Gallipoli on 21st August 1915. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Helles memorial To The Missing, Turkey.
