Pte George Edward COOK, 51st (Young Soldiers) Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment, died of illness in Norwich on 28th October 1918, aged 18 years.  He is buried in Plot 34, Grave 190.

He originally enlisted into the 15th (Reserve) Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment which became 93rd Training Reserve Battalion and then 51st (Young Soldiers) Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment when the UK based Army under training was reorganised in 1917 and 1918.

He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial.

His parents, William and Alice Cook, resided at “Moorcroft”, Grosvenor Street, Cheltenham.
