Lt Col Arthur Saunders VANRENEN, 5th Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, is commemorated on the grave of his father.
He was killed in action in Gallipoli, aged 52, on 15th August 1915. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Helles Memorial To The Missing, Turkey.

He was killed in action on 9th July 1917 near Druid’s Farm, Oosttaverne, Belgium and is buried in the Oosttaverne Wood Cemetery, Belgium.
He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and the All Saints Church War Memorial.
His parents, Benjamin and Elizabeth Wilhelmina Vick, resided at 17 Fairview Road, Cheltenham. |

Gnr Maurice Carter VOILE, ‘C’ Battalion Tank Corps, is commemorated on the grave of his father at Plot Y/5346 in the cemetery.
He was killed in action on 9th April 1917 in the Arras area of France. He is buried in the Tilloy British Cemetery, France.
He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial, the St Paul’s Church War Memorial and the Cheltenham Grammar School Roll of Honour.
He left a widow, Mrs Winifred Voile, who resided at “Moville”, Hewlett Road, Cheltenham and later at “Pendennis,” Cleeve Hill, Glos. |

He died in Egypt on 12th May 1915 and is buried in Alexandria (Chatby) Military and War Memorial Cemetery.

His father, Captain Walter Were, late of the Royal Dublin Fusiliers died in the town on 12th January 1915. |
