Inscriptions on this War Memorial:    This monument is erected by a grateful public to the memory of the men of Cinderford and district who fell in the Great War.

“Cheltonians” commemorated on this War Memorial

Pte Gilbert MUSTOE, Gloucestershire Regiment, killed in action in France on 25th March 1918.   Once resided at 2, Upper Norwood Street, Cheltenham, though he is not commemorated in the Cheltenham area.
