“Cheltonians” buried in this Cemetery

Pte Wallace WILLIAMS, 1st Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, is buried in Plot VI, Row C, Grave 33.

He was killed in action on 14th/15th October 1918 in the Courtrai area of Belgium.   He was 23 years old.

Pte Williams is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial, the St Paul’s Church War Memorial and on the All Saints Church War Memorial.

His mother, Mrs Ada Didcote (previously Williams), resided at 118 Fairview Road, Cheltenham.
