Commemorations in the Churchyard

Sgt Charles Peter WILKS, Royal Army Medical Corps, is commemorated on the grave of his widow in the churchyard.   He was killed in action in the Arras area of France on 16th June 1918 and is buried in the Anzim St Aubin British Cemetery.

He is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial, the All Saints Church War Memorial, the St Gregory’s  Church Roll of Honour, the Post Office Roll of Honour, the Order of St John of Jerusalem Roll of Honour and the St John’s Ambulance Brigade Roll of Honour.

Sgt Wilks resided at 48, Winstonian Road, Cheltenham.
