2Lt Edward VICK, 8th Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment, is buried in Plot III, Row A, Grave 17.

He was killed in action on 9th July 1917 during operations to capture the Oosttaverne Line to the east on Wytschaete.   He was 28 years old.

2Lt Vick is commemorated on the Cheltenham War Memorial and on the All Saints Church War Memorial.

His parents, Benjamin and Elizabeth Vick, resided at 17, Fairview Road, Cheltenham, and he commemorated on the grave of his father inCheltenham Cemetery.

He was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal on 20th October 1916 whilst serving as a Corporal in 10th Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment.
