2Lt Harold Rolleston STABLES, 5th Battalion Royal Fusiliers, attached to 1st Battalion Cheshire Regiment, is commemorated on a stained glass window in the Chapel at Cheltenham College.
He was killed in action in the Ypres area of Belgium on 15th November 1914. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial To The Missing, Ypres.
He is commemorated on the St Luke’s Church Roll of Honour and on theCheltenham College Roll of Honour.
He attended Cheltenham College between 1898 and 1905. |
