Inscriptions on this War Memorial:  This tablet is dedicated to the men of Badgeworth who gave their lives in the cause of freedom 1914 – 1918.

Notes:   

1.   Beesley is buried in Badgeworth (Holy Trinity) Churchyard.

2.   Bliss is commemorated on the family grave in Badgeworth (Holy Trinity) Churchyard.

3.   Nunney H actually died at Gloucester in 1971 aged 85.

4.   The names of the Perry brothers have only recently been added to the Memorial.

5.   Rimmell is most probably Reginald Ivo Rimell.

6.   All are commemorated in the Roll of Honour pages.
