Inscription on this War Memorial:   To the glory of God and in honoured memory of the men from this parish, who laid down their lives for their country in the Great War 1914 – 1919

and of the Officers and Men of the 10th Gloucester Regt who worshipped in this church whilst under training and who fell at Loos.

19.  Thomas H J is most probably Hugh Gareth Thomas who is commemorated on the grave of his parents in Cheltenham Cemetery.

20.  Trevenen’s original battlefield grave marker is now located in St Stephen’s Church and he is also commemorated in that church on a stained glass window.

21.  Vanrenen is commemorated on the grave of his father in Cheltenham Cemetery.
